This is an early release of work in progress! Do make a search here to see that designing actually viable electric motors is one of the hottest subjects out there! Coreless is still the magic because of the absense of viable paramagnetic filaments. I found some other motor design work but it is not actively developed or very well written... Why Halbach? because conventionaly two magnets side by side tend to effectively short out their field directly between the magnets instead of concentrating it where it can be useful! V1.2 added show mode magnet display V1.3 Working on the stator winding - Just started to get some really strange problem - the circular pattern you see on screen can go 5 instances but not the required 36... And I have done much more complicated geometry recently. The source file is the latest MagnetAxle013.scad V1.4 Working on the bearings and space for windings... I am still learning and open SCAD itself could become much more usefull if object orientation and such means of abstraction can grow into the language. Am I missing something ? please do share your thoughts in the comments or find me on different platforms...
