HAL 9000 / Raspberry pi Giant Case
cults3d
Hi, makers ! This is my first attempt to reproduce a full scale HAL9000 Replica. Size is roughly 34cm x 11cm x 2.7 cm What you'll need : * A rapsberry pi ( 2 / 3) * A PAM8403 audio amplifier https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B07CYSN9Z6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 * A big arcade push button for the red eye https://www.ebay.fr/itm/100MM-DOME-MASSIVE-DIY-ARCADE-BUTTON-WITH-LED-CONVEXITY-CONSOLE-REPLACEMENT-ORNA/323413326425?_trksid=p2485497.m4902.l9144 * A 3.5 mm stereo jack cable to scavenge... * Wires * 1 Led and a 500 ohm resistor This replica is built with 4 main parts, the case is split in 2 due to its size. I've used a lot of sanding and epoxy to achieve a smooth surface rendering. Depending on demand, I may produce assets (stickers, python code). For the moment, the led is blinking according to CPU activity. I intend in a near future to add voice functionality, either by TTS, either by pre-recorded wav files. Don't hesitate to post your makes, I'll be glad to hear from you ;)
