This is a comprehensive guide for crafting your own replica of a Hakko T12 soldering station. Components you'll need for this project: 1. A custom printed case (available on this page) 2. A 24V, 6A AC-DC power supply - I used this one: https://aliexpress.com/dcVy 3. The Hakko T12 kit - I used this one: https://aliexpress.com/4TxG 4. Any flat AC cable with switch (for example https://aliexpress.com/iRBU) 5. 4 M3x5 screws for securing the power supply 6. 6 M3x16 screws for assembling the case Assembly instructions: 1. Print and process the case according to your needs. 2. Pre-assemble the T12 kit (consult the product page for instructions) and calibrate it thoroughly. 3. Mount the power supply in the lower section of the case, pass the AC cable through the backplate, and connect it to the corresponding terminals on the PS. Connect the unattached power wire from the T12 mainboard to the output of the power supply. Verify polarity! 4. Place the backplate into position (align with the notch). 5. Assemble the frontplate: install the solder socket securely, then place an LED in its designated spot and position the mainboard accordingly. Install a washer and nut on the encoder and tighten it firmly. Next, solder an LED and socket. 6. Plug in the mainboard power wire. 7. Align the plates and secure them together with the top part of the case using screws. 8. Your Hakko T12 replica is now ready for use - enjoy soldering!
