Hakko T12 adapter for the TS100 Soldering Iron
thingiverse
This little adapter makes it possible to use Hakko T12/T15 tips on your TS100 soldering iron. Hakko T12 and T15 are actually identical, the difference being in market availability. Using this adapter will result in a longer iron, but you can purchase Hakko tips at a lower cost than the original tips for the TS100. The rubber grip on Hakko tips also feels significantly better than the body of the TS100. The adapter comes with a built-in stand that's convenient to have. I was able to print it without any supports by printing the stand face down. After you're done, just slide the rubber grip from a Hakko tip into place and click it in. Then click the adapter into the rubber grip. Loosen the Allen bolt on your iron and insert it into the iron. It will only fit one way. Secure it gently with the Allen bolt and you're ready to go. This area of the iron does not heat up, so printing with PLA is perfectly fine. The Solidworks source file is included for download.
