I would have used the yaddatrance design but I wanted the bench space so prefer to hang this tool. This stand features a 3/4" copper pipe insert to protect the holster from being melted by the hot end. The hot end doesn't touch the holster, so it isn't absolutely necessary. I've only used this a half dozen times since designing this hangar about a month ago. It could be that it will be damaged by heat, over time, but so far it is exactly as it was mounted. The print itself took 90g of PLA, including support. I printed it upside down with the mounting flange on the build plate. It was an easy print but the support left a rough finish on the fingers so I had to sand them a bit to make it nice. I designed this in FreeCAD, gorilla style. It is not parameterized beyond a very few datums. I took a few pictures of the gun, loaded and scaled them in FC, and then sketched the fingers over top of the top and side view pics. Brutal. But, effective. The gun slides in far more directly and easily than I would have expected. It is super handy and the stand is screwed to the shelf, so it never tips over. Enjoy.
