IMPORTANT: This design requires a 0.2mm layer height for optimal printing results. Failure to meet this requirement may lead to poor print quality. This is a Hairy Lion, as its name suggests - a lion with a coat of hair. The model is a remix of the popular Lion HD design by Geoffro, hosted on Thingiverse, which does not require supports. UPDATE: I have created a 50% smaller version of this model, reducing print time to approximately 1-2 hours. However, caution must be exercised when cutting the hair, as visible bald spots may occur if too much is removed or broken off. The hair is connected to a sacrificial wall that can be easily removed after printing (see post_processing.jpg). For added realism, hot water can be used to shape the hair; just be careful not to burn yourself. This design has been successfully printed with ABS, but it should also work well with other materials. If you encounter any issues during printing, adjust your slicer's bridging settings accordingly.
