Most of you likely have glass beds, and one of the most commonly used tools for securing them in place is hairspray. I'm not a fan of constantly removing my glass bed to reapply hairspray, so I usually take a paper towel, fold it into a compact square, and spray the hairspray onto this makeshift applicator. Then, I apply it to the middle of the bed in a thin layer, which works great. However, I need two hands for this process, and inevitably end up coating my other hand with hairspray. I was originally modeled after an unscented extra super hold can of Aquanet, but this design has proven versatile and compatible with a wide range of compression cans. If the spray nozzle doesn't mist properly and instead streams out, it may be due to over extrusion, causing the hole to seal. To fix this issue, use a thin needle or pin and tap it into the hole to enlarge it. I used a 0.5mm needle and now my can mists perfectly. 1) Simply print this design out. 2) Remove the spray nozzle from your bottle of hairspray. 3) Snap this device into place. 4) You're ready to go! 5) Now, take a folded sheet of paper towel and press down on the mouth of the can quickly. This will apply a single, even coating of hairspray to the bed.
