I design and fabricate this gadget using Taulman PCTPE (Nylon) material, but I suspect it will work equally well with any semi-rigid filament. Next, push the tapered end into the drain pipe, then carefully pull it out, bringing a considerable amount of yucky residue along with it. To remove it, simply peel off the raft from the pointed end.
