Hagar the Horrible

Hagar, from the popular comic strip 'Hagar the Horrible', stands at an impressive 27cm tall (including his mighty sword) without requiring any painting when printed with the suggested colors. Printing supports are not necessary. Despite his fierce appearance, Hagar is actually a big softie - a true pussycat at heart. Enjoy! --------------------------------------------------------- 3D PRINTING SETTINGS Printer: FlashForge Creator X Rafts: Not Required Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 10% Notes: All pieces can be printed without a raft, but the sword and smaller parts may require a brim or raft based on your individual experience. I also print small parts with higher infill and two shells, as well as parts with curved surfaces and no flat top with five top layers. Colors and multiple printed pieces: White: horn_righthorn_leftfaceshirtboots Grey or Silver: helmetswordshieldshield_handle Black: eyes (2 copies)shield_rivet (6 copies)shield_centerhelmet_rivetbootstrap (2 copies) Red: beard Yellow or Gold: sword_guard Brown: tunic_toptunic_bottombelttunic_pin (2 pieces) Flesh or Peach: arm_rightarm_leftlegsnose Assembly Instructions: Assembly is straightforward as per the diagram in the pictures section. Special Notes: The bootstrap pieces are printed flat. Simply form a loop from each bootstrap and glue the ends together. I printed them in ABS and they were highly flexible. The bootstrap then slides over the top of the shoes, so ensure you do this before gluing the shoes to the legs. I also suggest assembling the shield first, then gluing the shield_handle piece to the shield. Once dry, the shield_handle slides into hand_left and can be glued in.
