Hafted Scraper. XCB-105-3242. 400 BCE-100 CE\nXCB-105 Adamagan (Aleut for place of walrus hunters) stands proudly at the head of Morzhovoi Bay, western Alaska Peninsula. This massive village thrived with multiple occupations, boasting an estimated 1000 residents during its occupation from 400 BCE to 100 CE. It remains the largest village in the Arctic's history, and also hosts limited occupations dated 2200-1700 BCE, 1000-600 BCE, and 900-1100 CE.\nWestern Alaska Peninsula artifacts were presented as a result of extensive research conducted under grants NSF 9630072, NSF 9814086, NSF 9996372, NSF 9996415, NSF 1139266, NSF 1321411. H. Maschner led the research as Principal Investigator. These artifacts underwent thorough scanning with either a Faro Edge Arm or a Minolta Vivid 9i. They were meticulously processed in Geomagic or Polyworks, utilizing 2-8 photos for texture in Geomagic Wrap. The original digitizing work was executed at the IVL at Id. St. Univ., while subsequent processing and publication took place at Global Digital Heritage.
