Hafted Knife. XCB-105-2672. 400 BCE-100 CE XCB-105 Adamagan, situated at the head of Morzhovoi Bay on Alaska's western Peninsula, boasts a massive village with multiple occupations. The site's occupation period spans from 400 BCE to 100 CE, marking it as the largest Arctic village during that era, inhabited by an estimated 1000 people. Limited occupations have also been dated to 2200-1700 BCE, 1000-600 BCE, and 900-1100 CE. Western Alaska Peninsula artifacts were produced through research grants NSF 9630072, NSF 9814086, NSF 9996372, NSF 9996415, NSF 1139266, and NSF 1321411, led by H. Maschner as Principal Investigator. These artifacts were scanned using either a Faro Edge Arm or a Minolta Vivid 9i. The scanning data was processed in Geomagic or Polyworks software. 2-8 photos were used to create textures in Geomagic Wrap. Original digitizing work took place at the IVL, located within the Id. St. Univ. Subsequent processing and publication were completed by Global Digital Heritage.
