Hafted Knife or Scraper. XCB-105-3277. 400 BCE-100 CE XCB-105 Adamagan, a massive village in western Alaska Peninsula, heads Morzhovoi Bay. As the largest Arctic village during occupation from 400 BCE-100 CE, it housed an estimated 1000 people with multiple occupations. Occupations dated 2200-1700 BCE, 1000-600 BCE, and 900-1100 CE are also present but limited. Western Alaska Peninsula artifacts result from research funded by NSF grants 9630072, 9814086, 9996372, 9996415, 1139266, 1321411. H. Maschner is the Principal Investigator of this project. Scanning was done using a Faro Edge Arm or a Minolta Vivid 9i. Processing occurred in Geomagic or Polyworks. Two to eight photos were used for texture in Geomagic Wrap. Initial digitizing took place at IVL, Id. St. Univ., with subsequent processing and publication completed at Global Digital Heritage.
