HAENAU E3D Mount
thingiverse
Following up on the previous link I shared http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1091057 , a crucial part is being added. The Extruder mount that was somehow forgotten earlier has finally been included. This attachment securely fits two standard 8 mm Linear bearings on each side, as well as an option to use one longer bearing instead. Cable ties are conveniently compatible with all configurations. Notice the previous prototype depicted in blue. It used a snap-fit mechanism, which initially performed impressively but had its limitations. After a single print, the E3D cooling fan stopped working correctly. As time went on, heat buildup softened the snap mount and ultimately led to a severe clogging issue, as I'm sure you'll recall from looking at one of my previous posts. The latest upgrade, colored in vibrant orange, boasts significantly enhanced durability compared to its predecessor. Its design features two opposing vice grips that ensure a much stronger hold. Moreover, it includes an adapter to accommodate Bouden cables seamlessly. This feature allows users to seamlessly switch between either type of E3D without hassle or need for adjustments
