Hadron WebCam Gimbal
thingiverse
This experimental setup is designed to secure a Logitech HD270 Webcam to an Ordbot Hadron Y-pillar, enabling adjustment of the focus and image sector. The mounting plate's simplicity allows compatibility with other webcams; merely fasten the camera in place with a cable tie through available holes. Original Y-pilars for the Hadron must be replaced with Y-Pillar_GimbalMount.stl files. FreeCAD documents are included. This work remains a development phase, where limited y-axis movement of the Hadron induces whole-arrangement vibrations leading to camera jolts. Instructions: I employed honeycomb infill at 50% density and four vertical perimeters to achieve optimal rigidity. Secure the assembly with three M4 pan head screws, each measuring 35 mm in length, paired with wing nuts for easy attachment and shifting.
