Hadron (ORD Bot) X and Y Idler Pulley Brackets
thingiverse
The Idler Pulley Bracket is secured laterally by four screws and features two additional screws for belt tension adjustment. A note from January 20, 2013, states that the X-Axis Idler Pulley Bracket requires modifications, with an updated version to be uploaded soon. On the same date, an X-IdlerPulleyBracket.stl file was uploaded as an update. An update from January 21, 2013, included the IdlerPulleyBracketV2.stl file. Another update on January 27, 2013, added a MisumiSpacer for the X-Axis. Instructions for installation include removing the original Idler Pulley Bracket and Idler Pulley while retaining the spacer, attaching the Idler Pulley to the new bracket with two M4 x 16mm screws and nuts, securing the new bracket with four M5 or M4 x 10mm screws, and finally tightening the lateral screws. The X-IdlerPulleyBracket requires support material during printing; however, the IdlerPulleyBracketV2 can be printed without it and is compatible with both X and Y axes. A reduction in the diameter for the lateral screws to 4.2 mm (M4) was necessary for V2. The MisumiSpacer can also be inserted between the X-MakerSlide and IdlerPulleyBracket as an optional step.
