A custom-made nut/cable strain relief was designed for a 3/8 cut-to-size spring, featuring internal threads that mate with the spring's turns. Attachment to the Gantry is achieved using two M4 screws, and cables are run through a 3/8 heat shrink tube. For optimal print results, no support is required, and a 70% infill is recommended. Cleaning up the 4.5mm holes may be necessary for increased strength, and soaking in thin CA glue can provide extra reinforcement. Have fun with your new design!
