This is a straightforward hacksaw mechanism designed in SolidWorks specifically for a first-year machinery students project. I opted for a servo motor paired with a controller, utilizing its 360-degree rotating functionality. The accompanying SolidWorks files have been uploaded, allowing users to modify the base and swap out the motor for one of their choice. A standard hand saw blade has been used for the hacksaw's cutting edge. It's worth noting that adding some lubrication can significantly enhance the saw's performance.
