HACKSAW BLADE HOLDER
myminifactory
I've gathered a small arsenal of scrapers tailored to specific tasks. My primary focus is on scraping Brims (the skirt) off my prints, where one curved scraper serves as a delicate chisel to dislodge stuck prints from the bed with a gentle tap using a small mallet. This versatile scraper can also be repurposed as a pad saw for lighter jobs. I prefer utilizing fully hardened blades, but safety blades are acceptable, albeit they don't retain their edge as effectively. When handling and snapping worn or broken blades to the correct length, caution is essential. To prevent the blade slot from becoming clogged, I print at medium speed using solid layers with no support material. For this tool, I've chosen PLA due to its durability.
