Hello, I propose you a small HACK concerning the bars of leds of the famous Swedish mark I..A (model initially for drawers and doors of elements of kitchen) I needed lighting for the worktop of my kitchen from the same manufacturer but when I saw the prices I got scared! Not wishing to buy the dedicated models I fell back on a model intended for drawers and doors found at the "corner of business" (the connoisseurs will know what I mean) In addition, this model is much less violent in terms of brightness. It is true that with the bars of leds thought for the work plans we have the possibility of installing a specific transformer equipped with a remote control to vary the intensity! Yes but no. At the price practiced by accumulating the lamps, the power cables + interconnection cables and transformer, it stings quite a bit. So I left on my copy of the "good finds" by adapting the lengths of cables, for the distance of the switch, because I just took the basic transformer 24V 19W, (type phone charger) on which I removed the hub of connection of multiple rulers by recovering a single connector. I removed the "door open" detection leds (no longer useful) and I designed covers or plugs to close the strip on each side since the original fixings were thrown away. Then a small plug for the hole of the detection leds. You will find 2 versions: A Long, left (wire passage) and right, for fixing with a small screw of Ø3mm. A Short, left (wire passage) and right, to stick to the double-sided. It works like a charm! And one ruler is more than enough for my use. Total, I saved ~40€ on the original kit!
