"Reboot - Crack the Code" is a 3D printed team-based board game with 70 components designed to foster the Hacker Mindset by playing different game versions that people create in a collaborative manner. Update: I still need to put some final touches on the Reboot website translation into English, but for now, I've got the Spanish version https://www.reboot.cc/es up and running. My goal is to have the English translation complete by March and improve our Internet connection to the servers of our hacktivist collective. How It Was Conceived I designed Reboot by examining the hacker emblem known as Glider, which bears a striking resemblance to the classic game "dominoes". To create components that would enable people to collaborate on their own unique game versions, like Copyleft software, I studied how to craft pieces with adaptable rules, setting aside competitive gameplay.
