HackerBox EtherTap Case

HackerBox EtherTap Case

thingiverse

This is a case for the EtherTap device included as part of HackerBox #0031. The EtherTap lets users tap into an ethernet cable and analyze traffic over it to resolve networking issues or perform penetration testing. This case comes in two parts and prints without supports. Note that the case, although appearing square, is actually 1mm wider than long, so the board only fits comfortably one way into the case. If it doesn't fit well, try rotating the board by 90 degrees. The lid snaps onto the body using built-in clips marked with "P" for passthrough jacks and "T" for tap jacks. Be sure that the markings are oriented above the respective jacks, or the lid won't fit. The lid was designed to fit tightly, so users may need to use a lot of force on the corners to get them to snap in place. This case was made with fairly tight tolerances but should print fine if the user's printer can pass a 0.2mm tolerance test.
