"Hacked" Tool Holder for Pegboard
thingiverse
So I was looking to shake things up on my pegboard tool storage system, and I thought using some magnets I had lying around would be a great idea, but I couldn't find any suitable scraps of metal to attach them to. Aha! I remembered I have some inexpensive hacksaw blades just sitting there. This is the outcome. Simply print out a couple of end clips and a middle clip, slide in a pair of 12-inch by 1/2-inch blade scraps, and you'll be ready to fit them to your pegboard. To mount my tools, I used epoxy to glue small magnets to one side for added convenience. The bonus is that you can also attach these magnetic tool holders to your printer if it has a steel frame. The pegboard I have is the standard 1-inch type from Bunnings in Australia, which is pretty common, I suppose. When printing, I had the opening for the blades facing downwards and included supports for the pegs to ensure stability.
