Hack filament sponge cleaner
thingiverse
I was in dire need of a sponge filament cleaner, as my printer nozzles kept getting jammed. So before printing one out, I simply used 1/4 of an old kitchen sponge and a 1" wide binder clip to get the job done. This ingenious solution works like a charm! It glides along the filament until it hits the feed tube and then effortlessly allows the filament to slide through it. The clamping force can be easily adjusted by adjusting how deep the binder clip grips the sponge. The .stl file is just a placeholder, serving as a base for my handle bar mounting bracket design.
