In 1984, archaeologists unearthed an artifact at the corner of Hunyadi Street in Szentendre, Hungary. The object was found during a dig in an 18th-century fill. It's a potter's work from Habán, made of a circular, ribbed body with a metallic glaze. The piece has been restored, with fragments added to its ear and mouth. The base color is white, featuring three large blue grape clusters on yellow and green leaves, brown vines, and a lower and upper border of blue scales. The date "16-91" appears divided between the design's two sides. This is Szentendre County's earliest known dated artifact. (Judith Sz. Tóth) Ferenczy Museum - Szentendre - KDS
