Shims are engineered to perfectly position the h7 LED bulb within the optic of your vehicle. First, try relocating the bulb inside the optic without securing it to determine the optimal placement for a smooth light cutout (ensuring oncoming traffic is not blinded by excessive light) while maximizing overall light output. In my instance, I employed angled shims to slightly elevate the led bulb's tilt. On one side, an additional 1mm shim was necessary to achieve the best focus and light output. Print the shims using PETG or ABS/ASA for temperature resistance, as LED bulbs frequently reach temperatures of 60+ degrees Celsius.
