Things need to be upgraded with fresh ideas now. This is a remix of my original design with exciting improvements and new concepts. New frame design is stronger, more flexible, and completely modular, providing endless possibilities for variability and space. The images show only a small selection of all the amazing setups possible. arm_M3 is designed specifically for 22xx motors (M3 screws 19x16), making it perfect for high-performance flights. arm_M2 is ideal for 18xx motors (M2 screws 16x12), delivering excellent stability and control. Say goodbye to long screws and locknuts – you won't need them anymore. Simply print 20mm aluminum spacers with a 5mm hex profile and M3 thread, available at hobbyking.com/en_us/3x20mm-alu-light-weight-round-stand-red.html. Print just four arms and two frame plates (long or short, as needed). Pick eight spacers and sixteen M3x8 screws, and you're done – it's all for the basic frame setup. Update: 2017-04-29: Reinforced frame plates reduce vibrations that reach the FC. Added a frame plate for the FC with standard 30x30mm mounting holes (Betaflight F3). Introduced camera holders for Eachie 1000TVL CCD cameras at four different angles (0, 10, 20, 30 degrees). Current flight configuration: Printed parts: arm_M3 (4 pieces), frame_plate_long_v2_30x30_spacers, frame_plate_long_camera_cutout_v2, landing_gear_v2 (2 pieces), 1000tvl_30deg. Flight controller: Betaflight F3 all-in-one (FC, PDB, OSD, BEC). Motors: Black Widow 2204 1900 KV with built-in ESC for exceptional power and control. Props: Graupner Copterprop 6x3 for smooth, efficient flight. Battery: Turnigy Nanotech 3S 1500mAh for a long-lasting flight experience. Camera: Eachine 1000TVL CCD for crystal-clear video. VTX: FT48X Raceband for high-speed data transmission. Takeoff weight: 480g for optimal performance and maneuverability. Print Settings Printer: Original Prusa i3 MK2, the ultimate printing machine. Rafts: None needed – print directly on the build plate. Supports: Yes, required only for arms to ensure stability during printing. Resolution: 0.2mm for precise details and smooth finishes. Infill: 15% for a perfect balance between weight and structural integrity. Notes: Supports are necessary only for arms, while landing gear requires some special settings – disable top and bottom solid layers to save weight and achieve elasticity.
