An updated version of the H4 is anticipated soon; however, a specific date remains uncertain. In preparation, the creator requests information regarding users' experiences thus far via private message on either this forum or the new Ultimaker platform. This feedback aims to improve future versions and enhance user-friendliness. The new extruder for the Ultimaker boasts several features such as a spring-loaded bearing idler based on Bertho's design, an integrated bowden clip, a quick-release system for easy gear/bolt assembly removal, and a fliplock mechanism for simple opening and closing without tension release. Two videos showcasing the extruder can be viewed at http://youtu.be/17JNsZ7IKTU and http://youtu.be/Yb96mQMyrVk. The extruder has been tested with various bolts, including the UM V2 bolt, Arcol.hu's hyena bolt, and KNRLR spiked bolts. A previous update highlighted the need for a small change in the bearing axle part for increased durability; alternatives include using a 12mm metal rod or printing spare parts. An updated solution involves gluing three M5 washers together and inserting two nuts with blue tape, creating an all-metal axle. Another update introduced an experimental kit for the Ultimaker V3 bolt, with instructions to be updated soon. The H3 instructions can be found in the attached H3 Instructions.pdf file. As the H3 has been extensively tested and the creator is satisfied, the work in progress tag has been removed. Future updates may include a new mount; however, significant changes are not expected. User feedback and suggestions for improvement are always welcome.
