H2 Extruder + BLV Ender 3 bracket (print optimized)
thingiverse
Attention: Please read the entire document before printing, thank you. Mounting bracket for the new Biqu H2 Extruder (https://www.biqu.equipment/collections/j-head-extruder/products/biqu-h2-direct-extruder-dual-driver-gear-extrusion-for-ender3-b1-3d-printer) and the BLV linear rail kit this is remixed from. Designed to be used with this fan duct: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4722930 although the other like... 3 fan ducts on thingiverse should also work. The finished part should weigh somewhere around 14 grams, so it shouldn't add too much additional weight to your print head. Nozzle is in same X location as stock, however it is placed further away from the carriage in the Y axis, so unless you move the bed location you will lose print volume in the Y axis. I have located the extruder as close to the centerline of the of the carriage as reasonably possible, you shouldn't lose much volume in the Z axis, if any. This is not a personal concern for me, as I rarely print objects that are taller than 100mm As I am still waiting on my H2 extruder and BLV linear rail kit to ship, I have not tested this for fitment, so print at your own risk. If you do print this and run into fitment issues(other than undersized holes, I draw holes undersized and ream to size, better too tight than too loose with these things) please let me know so I can make adjustments to the design. Includes additional mounting holes for accessories if you need them, although they are undersized and shallow, if needed take a drill and finish out the hole. I did not draw the 5015 fan or the H2 extruder, those came from GrabCAD(search H2 extruder and 5015 blower fan to find them) Parts and tools needed to complete: misc. M3 and M2 cap head bolts, 3mm, 2.5mm, and 1.5mm drill bits and either a drill press or a pin vice and a steady hand (to finish out holes). You can use M3 and M2 taps if you feel like being extra, but they aren't really needed, you can generally just screw the bolts directly into the plastic and they will chase their own threads. Finally, if you like this project and make one yourself, post a make! give feedback! If you love it, a tip would be greatly appreciated as well! If you are a manufacturer and would wish to produce a commercial injection molded version of this project, I only request that you give me credit for the design(and send me one as a thank you!) and link back to this project page as per the licensing agreement. In addition, any derivative works of this project must provide the source files of the modified project.
