H0 Modular Bridge. Please note that the entire file is designed to be assembled in sections, not printed as a whole piece. The bridge consists of a "start section," which forms the extremities of the bridge, and a central part. Both the start and central sections have a base and two sides. You should print multiple upper parts according to the desired length of the bridge. To calculate the number of upper parts needed, subtract 2 from the total sum of start and central sections. For example, if you have two start and two central sections, like in this file, you will need four upper parts. You can see that only two upper parts are included here, both designed as start upper parts to serve as terminal sections for the bridge cover. Each module measures 45 mm in length. You can use them as is or modify the central parts using an editor like Tinkercad to fit your needs. The upper part of the bases features grooves intended for connecting modules via a joint (see joint file) or simple glue filling. Before printing, ensure that the chosen plastic provides sufficient structural resistance to support trains. If it bends, consider adding a small balsa wood support under the base part. Print Settings: * Printer Brand: Prusa * Printer Model: Prusa Steel * Rafts: No * Supports: No * Resolution: Auto-set * Infill: 20% honeycomb Notes: Successfully printed on a Prusa i3 proB printer with the following settings: * Speed: 10-15 mm/s for optimal printing quality. * Material: PLA 1.75mm, temperature settings: 220 C (first layer) and 215 C (subsequent layers). * Bed Temperature: 75 C * Nozzle Size: 0.4 mm * Retraction Speed: 50 mm/s with an additional 0.5 mm retraction distance on restart. Design Process: The design was created using real bridge photos and blueprints, along with detailed model measurements.
