H Quad bild for crashes
thingiverse
This is my very first Quad. I designed it to be super easy to fix. The main part is a 12mm by 12mm piece of material, made in such a way that repairs are no problem at all. If the bolt on my quad becomes too tight, try switching to the next size up, which is labeled as number 12-4. The motor mount I used comes from this guy over here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:198878 - and let me tell you, it's specifically customized for a rod that's 12mm by 12mm. My front frame measures 20 centimeters long, with the middle of it being approximately 25 centimeters. I built my Quad using Flite Test's very popular Knuckle design. Here is a link to more information on this plan: http://flitetest.com/articles/knuckle-h-quad. Now here are all the parts I used in my project: Motor: Turnigy 2822/17, which runs at a speed of 1100 kilovolts ESC (which stands for Electronic Speed Controller): Q-brain, with an output capacity of 20 amps Battery: This one's a three-cell model with 2200 milliamps per hour of power, also made by Turnigy. Motor mount: Check this out over at Thingiverse - here is the link to download it for free! http://www.thingiverse.com/apps/customizer/run?thing_id=198878. Here are some basic things you'll need: 4 Motor Mounts 4 Corner Pieces 2 Rods that are 20 centimeters long 2 Rods that are 25 centimeters long
