I'm using HOTAS in VR, but I don't like typing on a keyboard. So, I decided to create an extra button module. Here are the components I used for the electronics: 12 x 12 tactile push buttons: https://www.amazon.com/ILS-TC-1212T-12x12x7-3mm-Momentary-Switch/dp/B07F3PR3L5/ref=sr_1_27?__mk_en_US=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&keywords=12+12+tactile+button&qid=1571901191&sr=8-27 Button caps: https://www.amazon.com/ILS-Square-Button-Switches-12x12x7-3MM/dp/B07F3WKSCB/ref=pd_bxgy_107_img_2/261-7478735-2398108?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B07F3WKSCB&pd_rd_r=0c028e0d-8703-4c8b-b330-fed3a2110ab8&pd_rd_w=RxATN&pd_rd_wg=KtkVf&pf_rd_p=35a41d3b-2593-48fc-9828-20619d3edceb&pf_rd_r=W79NMDVWBDRN0M7ADTSN&psc=1&refRID=W79NMDVWBDRN0M7ADTSN USB joystick board: https://www.amazon.com/Quimat-Arcade-Encoder-Joystick-Fighting/dp/B06XCTJ1JP/ref=sr_1_5?__mk_en_US=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&crid=3RVP700BLG1IQ&keywords=diy+joystick&qid=1571901387&sprefix=diy+joys%2Caps%2C221&sr=8-5 Female Thread Nut Kits (check out this video on how to use them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iR6OBlSzp7I): https://www.amazon.com/HSeaMall-Zigrinati-Injection-Molding-Assortment/dp/B07CPRHP2X/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?__mk_en_US=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&keywords=hseamall+330+pz&qid=1571901470&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUFQQzJRWEE3RllYOUYmZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTA2OTEyODRFMUlXTERRMUtRMDcmZW5jcnlwdGVkQWRJZD1BMDgwNzQyNzEyWEI3WVpTQ1pRUUomd2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGYmYWN0aW9uPWNsaWNrUmVkaXJlY3QmZG9Ob3RMb2dDbGljaz10cnVl Note: I desoldered the power LED from the board and soldered it to a wire so that I could install the LED in the top left hole. Make sure to isolate the bottom of the USB board.
