Replacement Battery Lid for the Multavi and Elavi Multimeters made by Hartmann & Braun in the 1950s and 60s. The battery lid requires a handmade metal insert that can be glued or welded into the cross cutout. The longer beam of the cross measures 23mm wide, while the shorter is 4mm wide at 16mm long. Images show the replacement battery lid on the left side and the original it was constructed from on the right side. A third image displays the replacement part in place under a 1961 Hartmann & Braun Multavi HO multimeter.
