This is a case for Alex Gyver famous lamp using cheap lampshade (other one) Everything is friction fit and assembles and disassembles easily. Feel free to tune tolerances in fusion 360 for your needs I've also made two PCBs for this project, one with THT components (based on wemos D1 mini) and one with SMD components (based on ESP-12E) THT https://oshwlab.com/scaytrase/mini-lamp SMD https://oshwlab.com/scaytrase/mini-lamp_copy Hole in the base designed for this type of power socket. Socket hole size is 11mm Firmware https://github.com/AlexGyver/GyverLamp Newer firmware https://github.com/AlexGyver/GyverLamp2 (compatible with old hardware) Print Settings Printer Brand: Creality Printer: Ender 3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.12 Infill: 100% Filament: FDPlast PLA Any Notes: There is no real need in infill, everything is thin wall as much as possible. For lid and tube - make some test prints of tube until you make them fit nicely. I was using setting in Cura called XY hole expansion in order to make threads fit well. There are also optional rubber feet in the project. I've print them with FDPlast TPU, worked somehow good, but without feet it works also good. Post-Printing Assembly Print all the parts Check tube and lid tolerances, be sure you can assemble and disassemble it and everything stays in place once tightened. Solder power socket wires. Assembly the socket into the base part. I prefer connect xt60 on the inside to connect power to LED matrix to make things detachable Assemble LED matrix to tube with zipties. Make sure cable sit in the holes well. Make sure LED matrix has to cables - power (thick red+black) and signal (thinner red, white, green). Solder sensor button and glue it to the lid. Put lid onto glass lampshade Put button wiring thru the tube Tighten lid against the tube Now you generally have assembled lamp. You can power LED matrix, connect button wiring and led wiring to your MCU\PCB and check that everything works. After this you can connect power from base socket to the LED matrix, pack all the electronics to the base or to the tube (mine PCBs are designed to fit into the tube) and put glass onto the base.
