Gyroscopic Rings Generator

Gyroscopic Rings Generator

This is a parametric version of the excellent Gyroscopic Keyring by gianfranco found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1307100. Thanks gianfranco! I wanted to experiment with different ring configurations, so I created this parametric version that allows users in OpenSCAD or the Thingiverse customizer to customize various settings. **Note**: Feel free to create your own customized versions since I only provide one simple STL as proof of concept. I'll add more STLs of different variations if needed. The default settings will generate a model almost identical to the original, but using the customizer, you can modify many settings to create your own version by: * Adjusting the inner ring size and central hole size - this affects the final gyro size * Setting the gap size between the rings * Setting the thickness of the rings * Setting the height * Adding an optional key ring loop - this can also be customized in different ways and orientation With the OpenSCAD customizer, you can get a centre sliced view with some transparency in the rings to better visualize what the model will look like inside. This may help decide if your printer tolerances would allow a good print or just to see what's inside since it's hidden after a print!
