The Multicolored Gyroscopic Relaxing Decoration by Gianfranco (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1307100) Gets a Makeover Without the Keyring and Prints Perfectly with One Extruder!! Print Settings: Printer: Anet A8 (Prusa i3) Rafts: No rafts needed, let's save some filament! Supports: None required, this design is totally self-supporting! Resolution: 0.15mm for a super smooth finish Infill: 10-25% is the sweet spot, but you can get away with 0% if you want a hollow decoration Notes: I printed mine at 45-60mm/s and it turned out great! If you have a good slicer like Simplify3D, you might be able to push it up to 90mm/s without any issues. Post-Printing: If You're Printing Multicolored: It's easier to heat all the parts to 70°C on the heated build plate and force them together. It's not the prettiest thing, but it gets the job done! You might need some clamps to hold everything in place, but hey, you only have one extruder! IF YOU HAVE DUAL EXTRUDERS: Print the model remixed by David_Mussaffi found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1777579 How I Designed This: I used MeshMixer to delete thousands of triangles and smooth out the gaps. All credit goes to Gianfranco Crevani, the original creator of this amazing design! Check out his profile on Thingiverse: http://www.thingiverse.com/gianfranco/about
