This is a Gyroscopic Fidget Spinner. It's made up of three STL files - one for the body and two for the outer rings. Getting it to spin smoothly takes some post-printing effort due to tight clearances. Check out its action in this video: https://youtu.be/udLh_yDoi04 1) After printing one body and three of each outer ring, you'll need four 608 bearings, super glue, a heat gun, and a razor blade for assembly. 2) Clean any small imperfections from the holes on the body since the clearance between the rings and body is just a fraction of a millimeter. 3) Remove supports from the outer rings and clean up leftover plastic with a razor. 4) Take a minute to clean up any imperfections in the ring holes before moving on. 5) With cleaned-up pieces, grab the heat gun, bearings, and super glue. Use the heat gun on the spinner's center body to let it expand while slipping the center bearing in. This only takes a second or so per side. I use the heat gun because filament shrinkage varies greatly from one type to another. 6) Once inner rings have cooled, push the bearing out slightly and add super glue inside the ring before pushing the bearing back in. Gluing is essential due to multiple forces on these bearings; without it, they tend to fly out when spun hard. 7) Slightly squeeze an outer ring until the inner ring slides into its holes. 8) To install the outer ring in the body, slide one end of the ring into the body and squeeze it until you can fit the other post into the other hole. 9) Now that everything is assembled, print your favorite middle bearing cover and enjoy.
