Gyroid Dodecahedron What does a gyroid look like in a dodecahedron? Of course, one can just print a dodecahedron using the gyroid (3D) infill while leaving the top and/or bottom open (layer=0). However, the gyroid is either too dense or not smooth. The present design takes a gyroid approximation and allows it to intersect with a dodecahedron for various views. The gyroid structure can be readily seen within the dodecahedron. By default, the dodecahedron has an edge length of 58.78mm or a face circumradius of 50mm. It can be scaled down to, say 75% or even 25%, for small printing spaces. Where the bottom half is exposed, minimal support is needed to support the gyroid. Otherwise, the models can be printed without support.
