Gyroelongated Pentagonal Rotunda

Gyroelongated Pentagonal Rotunda

The gyroelongated pentagonal rotunda, a Johnson solid, offers unique advantages for dome creation due to its ability to be constructed using rods all of equal length. Inspired by various domes, I've designed my own using OpenSCAD and Python scripts that allow precise positioning of cylinders and polygons. Although I haven't printed it yet, there are two versions available: one with the bare frame and another featuring panels between struts. The models were generated using a Python script that automates the process in OpenSCAD, offering utility functions for easy placement of shapes by coordinates.
