Gyro Eval Board Holder

Gyro Eval Board Holder

thingiverse

This OpenSCAD script generates a holder for an STM Gyro Eval Board, fitting onto the mounting holes on a Gyro_Turntable_Mounting_Plate. It enables testing the board on a high-speed turntable. Revisions include version 0.4 that removed a bolt hole, increased thickness (from 3 to 5mm), v0.3 with accurate sizing based on calliper measurements, v0.2 with cleanup, cutouts, and repositioning of parts, as well as a Minkowski sum for rounded corners under the PCB; initial design is in v0.1. The process involves printing and cleaning up the holder, attaching the STM Gyro Eval board using wood/plastic screws (re-drilling holes if necessary), and bolting to the turntable using supplied bolt holes in correct orientation. Test the gyro to its limits.
