Gyomeland M53R, a custom Magic: the Gathering Commander sized deck box. Inspired by the industrial kitchen ranges sold by Garland, this new and improved design features:Improved Oven Door, securing your 100 card Commander deck within.New hidden storage area concealed under range top, perfect for housing your commander.Functioning dice drawer in the back.A proofing drawer that slides out to hold tokens or sideboard. This is Version 2 of the Gyomeland Range. Version 1 is available here for comparison. In addition to enhanced or improved functionality, the aims of this new model are:Increase print efficiency. Lowering overall print time, and keeping each individual print under about six hours (minimizing risk and impact of print failures).Easier to assemble. Simplifying key components like the oven door (going from 5 parts to 2 parts).Increased capacity. Deck storage area is larger – but see notes below for critical detail. Additionally, hidden storage and dice drawer have improved capacity compared to equivalent features on Version 1.See Assembly Guide in the attachments for a full walkthrough of putting this deck box together.Edit 6/29/24 – Call out for imbedded magnets, pulled from comments:Four components take embedded magnets:Black 1 Bottom Panel (For Feet or No Feet variants)Gray 1 Dice DrawerInterior 1 Flat ASilver 1 DoorIn the Prusa Slicer, when you do the initial pass to "Slice now", you gain an interface to step through the layers and add in Pauses. If you scrub through the layers, look for the lay immediately before the cavity for the magnet is covered up. Pause at this layer and it will give you the opportunity to add in the embedded magnets. The magnets in Interior 1 Flat A should be placed in proper orientation to connect with the magnets in Silver 1 Door and Gray 1 Dice Drawer -- this can be tricky but marking the proper sides with a sharpie helped me a lot.Notes:Uses both inserted and embedded magnets. In total, full assembly calls for 16 round 3mm x 3mm magnets. See Assembly Guide for details.Recommended to use glue. Printed deck box in photos was assembled using DAP Rapid Fuse All Purpose Adhesive.Ideal for storing a 100-card single-sleeved Magic: the Gathering Commander deck.Deck Storage Area within oven measures 68mm tall, 94mm wide, and 80mm deep. This is a design error discovered fairly late in the process. A double-sleeved card (Dragon Shield sealable inner, Dragon Shield outer) measures 68mm by 94mm. My 100-card double-sleeved commander decks measure approximately 80mm in height. The deck storage area of this deck box is best for single-sleeved commander decks (which generally measure approximately 56mm to 60mm in height). You can store a 100-card double-sleeved deck in the Gyomeland M53R, but it would likely require putting the deck in with the larger plane of the deck facing out which would be precarious and I don't recommend it.A Version 3 will be released that corrects this geometry.
