You can also decrease its weight by screwing the caps a little bit. its calculated weight is 2.5 kg with sand of density 1600kg/m3. is printed in 5 parts. the dumbbell, two caps, and two mittens. the design requires almost no supports. The threads of the caps are designed to require no brackets. The body of the dumbbell also requires no brackets as they are designed at an angle greater than 45°, only a small one on the mitten lock. The mitts should be printed lying flat to give greater rigidity to the dumbbell. The mitts adhere well to the body of the dumbbell however they can be glued if desired.
