GX16 microphone connector backshell

Backplate for the GX-16 connector. I've attached the Fusion 360 file so you can adjust the cable entry hole to fit your specific cable, or simply drill out the opening as needed. I used JB Weld to secure the grommet to the backplate, and you may also use superglue with success. The retaining nut and washer sit snugly within the backplate, serving as push fits. To assemble, begin by threading on the grommet, followed by the nut, then the backplate, the washer, and finally solder the connector into place. Additionally, I recommend securing the cable just inside the backplate with a cable tie to prevent tugging directly on the soldered connectors. After soldering the connector, screw on the backplate and then insert the grommet securely in its place. The GX-16 connector model is included for those who wish to use it.
