A versatile filament clip, suitable for all filament diameters up to 4mm and various spools, is provided without any specific size requirements. It offers four adjustable tension options (additional tensions can be customized), does not necessitate a precise printer, and remains functional with frequent or prolonged use. The design has been tested on 1.75mm filament but is sized for larger than 3mm filament, fitting well within a 3.5cm-wide filament roll at all tensions (even the weakest holding it steady). However, adjustments may be required for 3mm filament in smaller rolls or multi-pronged spool holders. Feedback is appreciated for any necessary modifications. This filament clip, created in SketchUp, was a result of an inspired thought and worked efficiently during the first print. To use it, loosen the filament in the spool, insert a strand into one channel, tighten, and leave 5cm of filament between the end and clip. Refer to screenshots for further guidance.
