The Great Western Railway (GWR) is building a new class of locomotive, the 5700 Class or 57xx Class. This class of steam engine has six wheels and a pannier tank, making it one of the most versatile engines in British history. Between 1929 and 1950, GWR built an impressive 863 of these powerful locomotives, making them the top-producing class on the railway. They are also among the largest classes of steam locomotive ever built in Britain. Upcoming projects include a high-speed train from General Motors, called the Aerotrain. I am working simultaneously to complete both the GWR 5700 Class and the Aerotrain project.
