thingiverse
The passenger coaches of the Great Western Railway (GWR) came in a wide variety, ranging from four-wheeled to six-wheeled vehicles on the original broad gauge line of 1838. Over time, these coaches evolved into bogie coaches up to 70 feet long that remained in service until 1947. The nineteenth century brought significant advancements, including vacuum brakes, bogies, and through-corridors. By 1900, electric lighting had been introduced on the first coaches. In the 1920s, some vehicles were upgraded with automatic couplings and steel bodies.
