The GWR Autocoach (or auto-trailer) is a unique type of coach used by the Great Western Railway for push-pull trains powered by a steam locomotive. Its distinctive design feature is the driving cab located at one end, enabling the driver to control the train without being confined to the steam locomotive's cab. This innovative approach eliminates the need to run the engine around to the other end of the coach after each journey.
