GW style puddle bases

I use GW style round 25mm wargame bases for my collection of Bones miniatures and wanted to keep a similar style for larger monsters. To that end, I sought out designs that matched the aesthetic of recessed bases, commonly referred to as puddle bases. Unfortunately, many collections of bases here on Thingiverse failed to meet my standards - most were inconsistent with the design of existing GW bases, while others did not even maintain consistency among themselves. Furthermore, several of these designs were created using TinkerCAD and similar software, resulting in noticeably tessellated arcs and circles. In response to these shortcomings, I set out to create a new collection of bases utilizing FreeCAD. My primary objective was to address each of the concerns I had with existing designs on Thingiverse, particularly those used for D&D. As such, my focus centered on bases that corresponded to 1" diameter increments (plus 40mm, which I also utilize). The resulting collection includes: 25mm bases, although these are quite small for a puddle base and may not be practical in practice 40mm bases 50mm bases 75mm bases 100mm bases These designs are suitable for RPGs and wargames. If you require a different standard size, please let me know - making adjustments typically takes just a couple of minutes. I have also created a set of inserts that may be released at a later time.
