Gutgore Ripper World of Warcraft Weapon

This is a fan art full size model recreation of the Gutgore Ripper from World of Warcraft original game. The Blade is sized to be a bit large like it is in the game, with an 11" long blade and an 18" long dagger overall. The model has some scratches sculpted into its surface for added realism. Different Model Versions The model was designed to fit inside of an 8" tall build volume on the Wanhao Duplicator I3. There are multiple versions available, depending on how you want to print and post process the model. You can print the handle and blade separately, or as one whole piece with a large build volume and carefully mask off sections for painting. The handle has a built-in peg for gluing to the blade. Printing the different pieces separately makes it easier to finish and paint them before assembling. Printing Tips For best results, I suggest printing the model standing up tall as is. This will give you high-quality prints. Originally, I printed the blade in two halves laying down, but the quality was poor. To achieve a nice gem look, print the gems with petg transparent filament. This may require printing the handle in two halves, but it's not too much trouble.
