During current excavations on the Sennhof site in Chur, a roughly 9 x 8.5 x 3 cm large stone plate (FO69282.209.1) was recovered. It served as a mold for mass-producing decorative or religious items. With the remarkably well-preserved mold from Chur-Sennhof, approximately 1000 years ago, cross pendants with Christ's depiction, disk brooches, finger and ear rings, as well as pendants in the shape of eagles could be produced. According to current knowledge, the mold dates back to the 9th to 11th centuries.
