Gusev crater on Mars

To enhance a NASA/RISG project on Mars data accessibility, I present a 3D print of Gusev crater, with a diameter of approximately 167 km. This landing site for stationary mars rover Spirit utilizes data from HiRise digital elevation terrain mesh. In Rhino3d v.4, I oriented and traced the border, extruded, capped, and clipped it. Printing in GITD ABS showcases clear detail; a red version was also produced before being taken by NASA's office. The printing process from STL file is straightforward.
